These two…well, just look at them. The chemistry is so palpable it’s practically oozing off the page. And that’s every photographer’s dream – to have a couple before her lens whose love is so big that it can hardly be contained in a strip of 35mm photographic film. So as you can see, it was my lucky day.
Thinking back on Michelle & Adam’s engagement session, I have to smile, because I’m pretty convinced it was their adoration for each other and their sheer force of will that kept us going that evening. We arrived to a rainy start, followed by quickly diminishing light and the thickest clouds of swarming insects that I dare say have ever existed. Nonetheless, we made it work, and rather beautifully, I might add. We sapped every ounce of light we could from the day, pushed my camera to its limits, laughed – a lot – and got some pretty gorgeous images. So, cozy up and take a peek – and don’t even try to pretend that purple isn’t your new obsession afterwards. Enjoy! xo
