It was made very evident to me recently, at my baby shower, that I have made my aesthetic very obvious to my nearest and dearest. Gift by gift, as I unwrapped little bits of loveliness for my sweet baby-boy-to-be, I realized that even gifts purchased outside of my registry were in colors that make me swoon. So you can imagine my surprise & elation, when — by chance — I was handed the most beautiful coral and teal engagement session EVER. My very favorite colors.

Freda and Howard are an adorably affectionate couple. As with many of my clients, there were nerves when first stepping in front of my camera, but they quickly relaxed when they realized the opportunity this afforded them to canoodle on command. The two are set to wed – this week, I believe! – in the Caribbean, and I won’t lie and tell you that I’m not a wee bit envious of the local photographer who gets to capture their special day. I’m certain it will be the dreamiest affair, accented beautifully with varying hues of coral and seaside teals and the bride’s oh-so-perfect giggle. Who wouldn’t want to capture all of those pretty little details?
