I have a whole lot of fondness for late autumn weddings. The crisp chill in the air, the burnt orange color of the leaves, brides in cardigans and scarves. But perhaps most of all, I love that I get to deliver the images to the bride and groom right at the height of the holiday season – a beautiful gift of love, light, and memories.
Chris and Medina hosted an intimate fall affair at the lovely Tabard Inn – just five days after we shot their engagement photos (you can see those here). The day was full of personal touches: handwritten vows, homemade mulled cider mix favors, and sweet little cork and ribbon place settings. Medina, in her show-stopping green heels, was all smiles, and both she and Chris were just brimming with joy and gratitude.
To Chris and Medina’s amazing family and friends: hats off to you for roasting and toasting in a most memorable fashion (thus allowing me to capture the HILARIOUS toast sequence below). And to the adorable couple – get cozy with a mug or two of that yummy mulled cider, and take a walk down memory lane. It was a delight to photograph your special day, and I hope it’s a treat to look through these images on Christmas Eve! xo
