Chris and Medina have the most infectious adoration for each other. Some couples feel self conscious and a bit awkward for the first few minutes in front of the camera, but this little love session was a breeze from the start. You’d think they’d been living across an ocean from each other for years on end, or something…
Oh, wait.
They really do seem to personify the DC romantic experience. Between the Foreign Service and graduate school in the United Kingdom, these two have lived apart for much of their relationship. In fact, we held off on shooting an engagement session until Medina was able to secure a visa and hop a flight home — just a week before their wedding! Nonetheless, there’s nothing transient about their feelings for each other, and that is very evident in these images below.
We thought perhaps we’d miss the foliage, but we managed to snag one of the last blissfully warm autumn afternoons of the season with plenty of vibrant colors. Cross your fingers we enjoy similar weather for their wedding later this week…Enjoy! xo
